War is war; it's not paintball.
Death is a casualty of war; it is possible he killed someone, either for strategic purposes or self-defense/defense of others.
Cut him some slack, and take a chill-pill; your teacher earned the right to keep his demons tucked away and live in peace. |

it's possible. as a "lead attacker" im sure he had plenty of opportunity for it. |

What an incredibly stupid question. Yes, he probably did, does that make you think less of him? Remember in war its kill or be killed. |

What do you think people in a war zone do? He may have killed people there, for sure they wanted to kill him.
He is alive and healthy because they didn't get him.
He may be alive and healthy because he got them first. |

Only 10% to 15% of American troops in Vietnam were combatants, the rest were alL R.E.M.F.
But of course when they all came home they were all 100% Combat veterans. |

Could have, or could have been a desk jokey or a paper pusher. Who knows. Ask him |

possibly, it depends on what his function/duties were there, where & when he served, and whether he went out on patrol. |

There is a possibility, but like other have said, let it go. Don't ask him, it would be kind of rude, because if he did, its because he had to in order to save his life, also you and I really don't know what they went through and could never fully understand. |

Not that many troops are actually in combat, a lot are in support--transportation, armorers, providing food or medicine. Some people did do combat and they probably did kill people. Thats the way war is. I disagreed with the war but I respect (and always did respect) the people who fought it. Sorry they got screwed. |

most likely he does.... |

Very probable |

if he was combat arms, it is likely. however, in Vietnam the majority of those who served were support personnel for the guys doing the fighting. (unlike the current involvement in Iraq where support is largely provided by contractors) |

it is possible |

Uh.. it would depend entirely on what his job was. Many military jobs don't put servicemen in the position of having to kill people to survive. Some, of course, do... So... it would depend. |

If he was what you think he was, then he may well just might have. That's the problem with war, you have to kill people. |

Maybe, because there are a lot of opportunity's in the war. he couldv'e been a medic, maybe a computer technician or something. if he was in the war it doesn't necessarily mean he KILLS people. :) |
