No, and there will be many more milestones that will be missed. Sorry, that's the cold hard truth, my husband missed our first child's birth by 12 hours.... and has been gone for many other events. |

Only if you want to start over. Your timing isn't very good. You haven't even earned any leave while you are in BCT!
I could be wrong, but people when I was in had to start over, or in a class behind them. |

absolutely NOT. normal births do NOT qualify for emergency leave especially during Basic training and schooling.
you may get a Red Cross message and be permitted to call but that is it. only if she or the baby were in imminent danger of dying woudl you be allowed to come home. |

Maybe, maybe not, it will honestly depend on whether or not they will release you to do so. It also depends on how far away you live because the military will not pay for your transportation home, it is all up to you to pay for it. |

You will be afforded Emergency leave. Probably up to 5 days worth. Then it's up to your BCT unit to recycle you or put you back with your unit, it really depends on what phase of training you're in |
