Air Force has specific programs for people that want to also be civilian. They're called ARTs or ARCs Alot of people actually have good jobs, take police detective for instance, and just do reserve as like, almost a hobby. Make a little extra money and set up hours of work depending on what you want to do. They make bank, but you work up more money the longer you're in. The more service you provide, the more money can be made. Sounds ridiculous, but it's true. The Airforce takes care of people. The reserve guys also tack on rank fairly quickly. Depending on your job, sometimes tours overseas are on volunteer basis. |

Air force isdefinitely for you. It is as close to being a civilian, while still getting military benefits, as you can get. Any of them that you join are going to be close to your home (reserve station) so the easiest to hardest of your three picks in regards to lifestyle are:
1.Air force
2.Coastguard
3.Navy
Good call not picking Army or Marines as both of those sound like they would be beyond your limits.
Best of luck |

Navy is the best one to choose, because the airforce and coastgaurd is more likely to keep you away longer. |

It depends on what you would like to do. You can be called to active duty and sent overseas for all three, so keep that in mind. |

None. If you really want to make a diference join the Marine Corps Reserve. Only the truest best of the best can call themselves Marines. |
