CTIs deploy. they do NOT get Sea duty unless deployed. most of your time as a CTI will be spent at Meade or Gordon and possibly Kunia depending on language.

any of the Aviation and sea duty intensive ratings will be the best option.. OS, BM, etc.

You have a high score, it means there are a lot of jobs in the navy that you are qualified to train for, such as: Computer engineering, Medical fields (Physician assistant, Pharmacy, Radiology, etc.) and more.

If you get assigned to a job training that you don't like, after a year or so, you can choose and apply for the one that you are interested with.

The most part being a Navy is Travel to different countries. You will meet people and learn their culture. Be careful, some of the pretty ladies overseas might capture your heart. Nothing wrong about that.

I think most of the new enlistee get stationed in the ship. You will enjoy it specially if your ship (after it has been on the sea for sometime) pull in a Naval Base. Usually Naval Bases overseas are near cities in other countries. You guys will be able to go and visits those cities and go in the bar. Just don't over drunk yourself and don't overspend your money. Stay with your group for safety.

Naval Bases overseas are equipped with all the things that a person needs. Bank, grocery store, store where you can buy your Stereo systems, TV, Computer and other electronic gadgets. Theaters, Restaurant, Night Clubs (U.S. celebrities go there to perform), golf, well equipped gym, hobby shops, crafts, gosh, I could go on and on.

Most of the thing I like about being in the navy is you have a one month paid vacation every year and other benefits like paid school tuition if you ever want to go to college.

My little advise for you would be if you get station in any Naval Base abroad, it's usually 2-3 years. Try to take college classes one or two to keep you busy. They have university extention over there like: University of Texas, University of Maryland and so on. Tuition is free. That way when your enlistment is done and you want to get out from the service, you have already taken some class credits that are transferable to any college and universities in the U.S.

We get plenty of USS Aircraft Carriers in Sydney, maybe because we are one of the few countries that accept US Nuclear ships & it become a huge party, cool.

Dude you're joining the Navy. Just keep volunteering for sea duty and you'll see all sorts of the world. Including the red light districts and bars of the world!
