Navy Training question?

When joining the navy does everyone have to take the test where their legs and arms are tied together and then they are put into water, or is that only for the Navy SEALS training?
Additional Details
Thanks, some friend was trying to tell me everyone does that, but i was sure that was only for Navy Seal training. Thanks again!!!

That is ONLY for SEAL training...

In accordance with CNET P1552/16 Navy Swimming and Water Survival Instructor/Swim Tester's Manual, everyone who joins the Navy has to pass the Third Class Swim Test:

Third-Class Swim Test - A third class swim test is a test to determine if a person can stay afloat and survive without the use of a personal Floatation Device (PFD) in open water long enough to be rescued in a man-overboard situation. The 3rd class swimmer qualification is the minimum entry-level requirement for all U.S. Navy Personnel.

The third class swim test consists of TWO modules. Module one is composed of three separate events, a deep water jump, a 50-yard swim (using any stroke), and a 5-minute prone float. Swimmers who successfully pass module one may continue on to module two. Module two consists of shirt and trouser or coverall inflation.

that is for Navy Seals only, it is meant to represent the harshness of swimming with hard conditions.

No your arms and legs will not be tied together during training.

It's mostly for special forces and Navy seals. So no if you were to join you wouldn't be water boarded, but our enemies do REAL torture without doctors standing by and without caring for the health of the captive like we do.
