so i went to therapy for a few months cuz i thought i was depressed. i went on medication for anxiety and depression i took it for about a month and i didnt like how it made me feel so i stopped use. Could this prevent MEPS from letting me join the Navy?

yes. if you went off it without your doctor's approval you are PDQd.

It should not prevent you from joining. You will just require a medical waiver. However, the Navy is going through a little bit of a draw down (reducing the size of the naval force) so they may be less likely to accept a waiver for that. It all depends on your ASVAB scores, and your rate choice as to whether or not they need you bad enough. There are waivers for almost everything, it just depends on how valuable you otherwise are.
