Navy seabee jobs in demand?

ok i want to be a seabee in the navy reserves...i know there are 7 job fields in the navys construction battalion....the only thing im afraid of is when i go to meps what if none of them are open? i didnt see ANY others jobs i wanted in the reserves and they are going to want you to pick something.....so surely atleast 1 of those 7 jobs will be open im hoping but i dunno if the navy has filled its demand for them or if they are still in demand

I think they are in demand, you should be alright.

MEPS will tell you if they need them or not. If they dont offer them to you then DO NOT accept anything else. Tell them you will wait, when u do that im sure one will pop up. You have to be very strict and say you dont want to be anything else but a seabee and they will get you a slot.
