Nedd help with army recruiting question please asap?

my last question was that me and my girlfriend were taken to jail for domestic violence there was no fight just she hit me couple times so i had law called on her and i went to jail to but in court we both dropped charges so it was dismissed and expunged but my question is that army reserve sais that disqualifys me is there anything i can do or any other branch i can talk to help please

If it was dismissed you wouldn't need it expunged. You probably got community service or unsupervised probation with your dismissal. Because of that punishment, the military interprets that as you being guilty. Because you are now considered guilty of domestic violence, you fall under the Lautenburg Amendment which says you cannot have/use/be issued any firearms which is part of being in the military. You will NEVER serve unless you can get a Presidential Pardon. Good luck!

why did you call the cops? the guy ALWAYS goes to jail in a domestic violence case no matter what happened

Marines might take you
but usually violent things like that can get you disqualified
and cops dont just take someone to jail who called them on there gf they had to of done something>girls=trouble

That is not necessarily true. Things can be waived, if this is not on your record then you can fight it. I would also try another branch or just another recruiter. Usually they don't fight you with this kind of stuff because recruiters have quota's to meet!

my wife just left for basic and she really doesnt wanna be there and i dont either is there anything i could do to get her discharged on the spot
