I served from 2003 till 2006, 33.5 months total. Got out on a school drop (honorable discharge early to attend college) I have about 6k of my gibill so far, and have the kicker. How much am I looking at getting under the new bill? does it reset? What if I want to get my real estate apppraisel lisc. its 150hours of online course and $1200, can I do that now, or should I wait till August?

no. you must be on AD on 1 August 2009 to qualify. |

you get what you got right now. currently there is no provisions for soldiers who have discharged.
i suggest you read the lateest updates. and you can use the GIB any ol time you want.
and furthermore if you have all the answers then stop asking questions |

Q) If I used all of my months of benefits under the Montgomery GI Bill (MGIB), am I still eligible for benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill?
A) If you used all of your months of benefits under MGIB, you may still be eligible for benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill if you have qualifying active duty service after September 10, 2001, and meet all of the eligibility requirements for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
For example, if you used 36 months of benefits under MGIB and you are eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill, you may receive up to 12 months of benefits under the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
You cannot receive more than a maximum of 48 months of benefits under any combination of VA education programs.
