I would have to say that it is pointless going to war. Killing people whether you're doing it for a good cause of bad cause is certainly a crime against humanity.

Whether one country has a bigger army than another country is void because if you compare NK & USA, the technology gulf is quite large.

In my opinion i feel that NK's showing of arms and potential force is just an attempt to tell the world to leave it alone and focus on other aspects. Nevertheless it is still a serious matter to test nuclear weapons.

Other countries have done this before fair enough, but in a world that is peppered with senseless violence and killing, is it really necessary to further test these weapons, knowing the amount of destruction that it could potentially cause?

Human nature is certainly a strange subject and once we destroy everything in our lives, then only can we start rebuilding a life that would be favourable to everyone.

Including the National guard and air national guard, as well as the reserves, the US has roughly 2 million active members in the Military.

Tactical nukes makes number comparisons of infantry a moot question. The allies have relied on tactical nukes around the Fulda Gap and the 38th Parallel to establish parity between overwhelming numbers. It's the equilizer between the normal guy on the street and the local street bully.... Only recently have we taken the tactical nukes out of S. Korea, but with SLBM, that point is also moot.

I feel sorry for the troops stationed in South Korea, beause if a war does break out...that's where the North Koreans are going. That's why the US force in S. Korea is known as the world's largest speed bump. But it won't get to that point, so it doesn't matter. Bush won't go to war with Korea, no one will let him this time.

One big bomb is enough but I really don't know the figures of troops. I do know we are stretched thin though.

the Koreans can walk the walk, but they cant talk the talk. they have a good formation when walking but that is all. the us may not have as many men in the military but the USA is by far the Superior plus we have missiles that can sustain a flight long enough to get there. it's not size of the army that counts but the strength of the army.

NK Army is total crap, old out dated weapons can barely feed the Army. NK is all talk just like Russia was during the cold war. Russia couldn't move 80% of there tanks because they couldn't keep them running. The same way with Iraq, Iraq army trained very little the government was afraid to give them to much training and bullets.
