OCS and Dentures...is this a problem...?

I am going to OCS in a couple month's and am in the middle of a dental plan. I have to wear a upper and lower PARTIAL denture for 6 months...will this be a problem at USMC OCS? I have asked my OSO and he thinks it is a dumb question. My dentist assured me that they will no fall out as they are in the back of my mouth...anyone know anything about this regarding military standards?

I just need to know if there is any regulations against dentures for USMC OCS.

You cannot go to a military training program with any kind of ongoing orthodontic work. This is covered under AR 40-501, Standards of Medical Fitness. I realize it is an Army regulation, but it is the same one MEPS uses. See the link below:

Chapter 2
Physical Standards for Enlistment, Appointment, and Induction

2–5. Dental

d. Current orthodontic appliances for continued treatment (V53.4) are disqualifying. Retainer appliances are permissible, provided all active orthodontic treatment has been satisfactorily completed. Individuals undergoing orthodontic care are acceptable for enlistment in the Delayed Entry Program only if a civilian or military orthodontist provides documentation that active orthodontic treatment will be completed prior to being sworn into active duty.

EDIT: Yes, there are. You cannot have dentures or any kind of temporary orthodontic work and join any branch of the military, even in officer training.

Dentures are a choking hazard and are too easily lost. You can't stop everything your doing everytime your teeth get loose.
