Ok so...
Ive just enlisted in the Ohio National Guard after serving 3 years in the active army, My question is How long will it take me to receive my 20,000 lump sum bonus after reporting to my unit ... does it come after i report to the unit or after my first drill weekend ,,
i MADE SURE MY CONTACT STATED IT WAS A 20,000 DOLLAR CRITICAL MOS BONUS AND THAT IT WOULD BE PAID IN A LUMP SUM (MINUS TAX OF COURSE ) ,,, aND BESIDES MY CONTRACT WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME IN ORDER FOR IT TO GET PROCESSED WITH NO PROBLEMS .....

i guarantee your NOT going to get 20K lump sum. you will get 10K up front, less taxes. then get the rest spread over the term of your enlistment. i further guarantee that no where in your contract are the words lump sum |

Did you have to go to AIT again? If you did it won't be after you complete AIT and you will have to turn in a copy of your orders awarding the MOS etc.
If not then you should get it in about 30 days after you process into your unit. |
