You have previously asked the same question.
I will give you the same answer. You dont get Discharged from DEP, just dropped from their roles.

Please take a read at this link. It will answer most of your questions about Moral Standards.
"Military applicants are required by law, as part of the enlistment process to disclose any and all incidents that resulted in arrest or in charges being filed. When determining whether or not an offense "counts" for enlistment purposes, the services are primarily interested in whether or not the applicant actually committed the offense, not whether or not a "legal" conviction resulted.

To the Military there is no such thing as a sealed record. They can and will find out about it, sooner or later.
It does not matter that the charges were dropped, You were arrested and charged. It is a criminal record. Unless you were acquitted, it lasts forever.
By your own admission here, you did commit the offense.

You took a chance and said no... Didn't it ever cross your mind that the US GOVERNMENT will find out about an arrest? If they don't initially find out, when you apply for your clearance, they will find out.

EDIT: Mary they probably told their recruiter truthfully about it.

It doesn't say a whole lot about your integrity, which is one of the Air Force's Core Values. Even if you're not caught, you're right where you need to be, in Security Forces. That's where the Air Force puts their "bottom-of-the-barrel" recruits and those that flunk out of other tech schools.

Decisivness
Why would you not think of this before signing the contract and before telling your recruiter a lie? I'm surprised you even passed the ASVAB.

ArmyMedVet
you were a minor, dont sweat it. dont say a word. you'll be fine

Sara S
Don't worry you should be good. In order for you to process at the MEPS and swear in you had to have a background check and you somehow passed (I am really surprised b/c typically FBI (which is what the military uses) background checks show everything even things that are supposedly "sealed").
What you should have done was tell your recruiter up front about it, you would have just needed a waiver (something that most recruits end up needing). If they do a 2nd background check and it comes up, they should still be able to do a waiver. You should be fine, so just take a deep breath and you will be okay.
If you want to be safe tell your recruiter, believe me he will do whatever he can to keep you in his dep. Just tell them that you didn't think you were actually ever arrested and charged for it, but your parents just reminded you differently.

There is practically no way they will find out unless you tell them.

Just stick to your original story and NEVER tell anyone that you were arrested as a minor, even if you think you are cool with them in the Air Force. If they military finds out that you lied, you WILL get a Dishonorable Discharge.

Mary
If you were a minor and are now 18+ then it won't be a problem. I know people in the military forces with records as long as their ancestry records! Good luck!!
