Ask a solider or a vet what they are fighting for and if it is worth it. Everyone has a job in life and they do their job. Our men and women in the armed forces know the risks of any war and this is their duty. It is upsetting when any solider male or female dies in battle, past - present - and future.
To our soliders they are fighting for something. Their comrad standing next to them. Their family back home. To see tomorrow.
They are dying so that you and I still have our freedom and to hope that freedom may become apart of Iraq's new culture.
Here is a question for you.. Are you in the military, have family or friends in the military? If you do ask them this question. Because they know what they are fighting for. |

i would feel bad if they were dieng for oil. but they are not.
because of the evil sadaum hussein me and my friends family have had 238 relatives die. sadam killed over 2 million people and the people in the army new that when they signed up that they might have to go to war. sadam started another holocaust. of what i am aa kurd. |

If out troops were dying for oil gas prices would be a hell of lot cheaper than what they are. You need to grow up and realize what this is about....WMDs there was wmds according to several intellignce agencies and according to saddams own scientist, if they had em they shipped them out before we got there. To rid the world of an evil tyrant majority of iraqies are elated saddam and his ruthless regime are gone. The amin reason is Iran, we wanted to place democracy in and all around iran so we can crush the head of the evil iranian government. When the war started all the left wing nuts shouted War for Cheap Oil, a couple years later they were shouting War for Expensive Oil. Which is it, a war for cheap or expensive oil? Our troops are fighting terrorists in other countries so we don't have to fight them here. The military and our intelligence community in cooperation with our allied nations have thwarted many an attack here and abroad. Yes there have been other attacks, but none here or like 9/11. What do you really know, obviously only to spew ignorance. |

Whoops I can't because the store that sells shovels closed because the trucks brinnging the shovels is out of gas, which is no big loss because the factory that made them closed because the machinery broke down due to the oil shortage. The worker's quit going to work becasue they could not afford to pay for the gas. Their families froze to death because there was no heating oil.) |

to tell you the truth i am totally against the war. i have a friend that has proves that our government has something to do with all of the wars that is going on. but on the other hands i could careless of what you think. because i am very happy that i live in a free country and they do all that they can to have it this way. |

What You do not know is the difference between serving and being served. The political decisions that waste the lives of our military take away from the fact serving is honorable. If the time comes when giving service to the defense of Your country is frowned upon like back in the Nam days then this country will become another France. The fight was right but the plans and planners are wrong. Again world diplomacy waste American lives. This country should have the strength to take out the real villains (Syria and Iran). Not occupy them just destroy their infrastructure to stop support for terrorist. |
