I know it all depends on what MOS you are, but MOS aside, which base would you recommend?

Hmmm, thats true. It's not like I'm going on vacation. Plus, what MOS I get will dictate on what Ft. I go to, not like I can choose where I want to go.

you really only go to basic once, twice if you get out and then return.
I really have no idea how any of the other bases compare to my experience.
If and when you make it to basic you won't really have much time to experience or enjoy whichever base you end up at. |

With the exception of MOS's that are trained in OSUT mode, your basic training site is pretty much catch as catch can, unless you are female, in which case you will go to Ft Jackson, SC.
You don't get to chose the site and in any event, it's not meant to necessarily be pleasant. |

I'm sure it didn't get the nickname relaxin' Jackson for no reason. Fort benning infantry OSUT is the toughest in the army. I went though it and it was totally different then what people at fort Jackson went through. |
