Pakistan situation : Could taliban take over the country ?

Well at this rate the Taliban are gaining alot of ground ,First of all they have violated the agreement they had with the Pakistan government and now are planning on taking over the full country to implement sharia law!! Im surprised that usa ain't yet gone in and helped out though !!!

If you follow the news it looks more like a question of when will the Taliban take over Pakistan - not if. As for the nukes? Bad news no matter
how you look at it.

Its possible, soldiers are fighting a loosing battle due to the Gorrila tactics of the Taliban and how they can blend straight back into the cities, also since the education in pakistan has collapsed children are now being taught in special schools set up by the Taliban, they have to learn the kuran word by word, their was a docuementary about it and a boy down to 7 years old was saying he would happily carry out a suicide bombing were their was lots of "infedels".

About nuclear weapons ... im not too sure, their is a possobility anyone could buy a nuclear weapon aslong as they had the money but due to the fact alot of nuclear waste isn't desposed of properly, theirs always the risk they could create dirty bombs out of nuclear waste.

Pakistan may break in half, but probably not be over run by the Taliban. Northern and Southern Pakistan have slightly different cultures. That's because the Taliban are basically part of the very large Pashtun groups that live on the Afghan-Pakistan boarder. Much of the Pakistan government is operating in the south of Pakistan and Pakistan has to send its army north to fight in Pakistan rather than station enough troops in northern Pakistan to eliminate the Taliban movement.
