I strongly disagree. Iran has not shown themselves to be a direct threat to anyone outside the region. There is no nuclear weapons program. They have some volatile internal politics and they are a violent nation, but that does not make them a threat to the international community. There are a lot of countries with political unrest and mindless violence. Those countries do not have the organization or the motive to attempt attacks on a larger army. They're a problem, but they're not a threat. |

Well I believe terrorism is a much greater threat then global warming. |

DISAGREE although I still think the Iranian leader is a psycho
It's not random or natural that the Iranians HATE us and took hundreds of hostages just decades ago at the embassies. It's because the US interfered and established an Iranian ruler in 1953. We are now feeling the repercussions of the US' own actions. It's time to re-establish some kind of peace between the US and Middle Eastern countries because let's face it, eventually, the fighting HAS to stop.. |

I definitely agree with President Bush's statement. |

I think Bush is threatening the security of the world. He's looking for any justification to attack Iran, and those idiot Iranians want to give it to him so that they can have an excuse for bombing us.
Bush and his cronies are making a fortune off the Iraq war and can't wait to make ever more money off war mongering even at the cost of losing our brave soldiers. |

I think Bush is a lot like Chicken Little and thinks the sky is falling. |

Not really. You mention they supply IED's that are used against US soldiers in Iraq. Those IED's would not do a lot of harm to any soldiers if they were not there. We are best left not messing with them and if they want to disregard international standards then leave them in isolation. If we have reliable intelligence that suggests they have capability to launch any kind of attacks then tactical air strikes could be in order. That is the very most we should do. Any kind of ground attack similar to the mess in Iraq is a foolish idea. It costs too much and I find it hurts America's interest more than helps it. |

Bush is just saying what he is told to say by his writers ....all the power that determines policy, you never see...
That is what is so scary....
Iran is no more scarier than N.Korea... |

I'm not educated enough about the Middle East to be able to agree or disagree outright.
But my experience has shown me that it is foolish to immediately trust anything that Bush, his administration, his foot soldiers at Fox News, or the government or mass media in general assert. |

The Bush Clan has said that every country except the USA is part of a terrorist network at some point:
Egypt
Iran
Iraq
Afghanistan
Pakistan
Syria
France
Korea
Russia
China
The United Nations (of which we used to be a significant part).
Should I go on with the list of nations that Ms. Rice has expressed mistrust in?
Notice how all the above countries are not dominated by Christianity... |

How can anyone disagree? A country that has vowed to blow another country "off the face of the Earth", that has nuclear capabilities and is thought to be trying to make warheads; sounds pretty threatening to me. |

If you mean by flooding the market with cheap oil yes. But, if you mean nuclear arms, no. The NIE stated they abandoned their weapons program. All this stuff is just propaganda for a new war. |

I agree greatly. It dosen't take a genious to figure out they are going to be a serious problem. |

Well let's see, who started the last two wars (the genocidal War against Iraq and the War in Afghanistan) America or Iran?
When was the last time Iran fought a war ??
Who were they fighting??
Oh that's right... they were fighting Saddam who was trying to take over their country (kind of like the United States is now.)
Who's side was the United States on??
Oh that's right... Saddam was their buddy boy back then.
America is starting to sound like the Boy who Cried Wolf. |
