I haven't gone to MEPS yet but i'm hoping for the 68W MOS and to be stationed at Fort hood What is the precentage that this will happen? Is there any way I can make this happen I was told that Duty station choices are no longer gurenteed! Do I rate a bonus, I'm an E-4 will I become a SPC or stay a Cpl or get promoted to SGT?

during BCT you can fill out the wishlist , and chances are if you pick Ft. Hood youll get it, it is the largest military installation in the world after all. and medics are from TX plain and simple.
I am glad you went from OORAH! to HOOAH! youll notice a pretty huge friggin difference |

No duty station choice, Although you can request one,
But like the Marines, the Army is gonna send you where they want to.
Depending on how long you have been out of the Marines, either an E-3 or E-4 Specialist.
There aren't to many corporals in the Army, mainly only in combat arms.
Why would you think they would promote you ?
Plus, you need PLDC to be promoted to Sgt. |

Lots of good advice in the other postings but one more pieces...all the branches of the service are taking fewer and fewer previous enlisted...talk with your recruiter to be sure you will be taken. |
