What do you think drives Americans into Afghanistan? is it fear of terrorists as they claim, or do they just want more petroleum?

After 911 the United States and her allies wanted to destroy the Al Qaeda terrorist organization and capture Osama Bin laden. Al Qaeda was mostly found in Afghanistan where its training facilities were. The United States and her allies asked the afghan government, which was the taliban dictatorship, to had them over. They refused because they had been sheltering the Al Qaeda since its existence, so the United States and her allies invaded Afghanistan.

PS Afghanistan doesn't have any oil so that is definetly not the cause. Its Iraq with the oil.

Who's "they" that are claiming its fear. If its the media, they're wrong. Its not fear, fear is when you back out, go home, and cry. That's fear.
