Question about GI Bill? Help pls?

I am so confused about the GI Bill, I need help pls, I'm trying to plan my living situation.

Fall semester starts on mid august, ends on mid december, does that count as five months or four months in GI Bill? I know you only get partial payment but I'm confused whether it counts as 4 or 5 months.

If it starts on april 20th, your gi bill cycle ends on april 30th. You only get paid for those days of the month. then you will get paid for the full months the full amount. hope this helps if not check out the VA's website http://www.gibill.va.gov/ If you are still on active duty whole different story
