Question about NROTC?

If I were to get a scholarship from NROTC and sign on with the navy would I have to go to a college in state or could you get one to go out of state?

you can go to any one that has the NROTC program.

You can go to any college that offers the NROTC program regardless of state. Im going to Georgia Tech and I live in Ohio.

they ask you to list the schools you would like the scholarship at. You can pick any school with an NROTC program you want. You might not get the scholarship you want at your first choice school, but don't worry you can ask to transfer the scholarship to your first choice school. Trust me, lots of people ask to transfer scholarships so there is bound to be a spot open up for you. I had my scholarship transfered because i originally got it to cornell, and i was like "i'm already going to school at this university". They transfered it to my college......
