Question about The Fog Of War film?

I am suppose to choose 3 lessons from the film "The Fog Of War" that I think apply to the war in Iraq. To me, there is NOTHING about the Vietnam war that relates to the Iraq war. What do you guys think?

Nothing in common other than Mc Namara and Rumsfeld being idiots !

both use guerrilla warfare, both have traps (pungee pits in nam, ied's in iraq), no exit strategy in either, enemy blends in with the locals, most of the world disapproves, ETC

If you fetch really far you could say that in both wars the presidents
deliberately lied and pulled together "evidence" from various sources
that turned out to be well known crap. But that's just one thing. I wouldn't
know another even if I'd fetch as far as Africa.
