Question about buying plane tickets for AF BMT Graduation?

I heard that it is best to buy a refundale plane ticket, but they cost so much more...
My question is: If I buy the "Wanna-get-Away" ticket, the cheapest one would that work? It is not refundable but it is re-usable. So I can cancel my flight, just book it again in the next 12 months. Which I am sure he will graduate before then! This would end up saving almost $300.

Can anyone give advice?

If it easy to change dates, do that. Your airman will really appreciate you being there. They will have a good idea when they finish early in their basic. If they wash back, they will be able to let you know the new date.

Kind of up to you - but as long as you could use it for something else (including a later date), I'm sure your airman would appreciate you being at graduation.

Your best bet, is to wait untill the last min to buy the airline ticket.

After your airmen has passed thier final PT test,

Then they will know if they will graduate with thier flight or not.

They can then call you and let you know.

Or you can ask them, how well they are doing in PT

If they will have no problem passing the final PT test, then you can go ahead and buy the ticket

Your airmen knows if they are gonna graduate on schedule, or if they are having problems

Bonkers!
What additional advice is there to give? The reason for the original advice is that the date could change (the student could be delayed a week or month).

No one cares what kind of ticket it is. The idea is to protect what you've spent. If you have a ticket that allows you to change the date, then you are all set, regardless of what it is called.
