Ok I understand that the first is the payday. BUT when payday falls on a Monday we get paid Saturday. Guess its because Sundays banks are closed to put in the deposit... not sure. ANYHOO, so since Monday is a fed holiday, should I get paid Saturday??? Knowing what I said above are we thinking thats right?

Thanks for the answer... I already knew that. Im just questioning because if the banks are closed the day before payday, then I get paid the day before that. If paydays are on a monday, I get paid saturday. SO Since the banks are closed Sunday and Monday should I get paid Saturday??

Who do you bank with? Banks like USAA and Marine Federal, and the rest that usually get paid a day before everyone else already got paid today. Banks like BoA, Navy Federal, and others that get paid on payday usually, they get paid tomorrow. Unless your bank is strange and is holding the deposit until Tuesday morning at midnight (very unlikely) you will have it today or tomorrow. Call your bank, they will already have it pending. |

Payday is the 1st of June, so Tuesday actually, it is a federal Holiday on Monday so the banks are closed. They can therefore release the money to your account on Thursday, Friday or Saturday or some banks might not release it until the actual first. It is all up to your bank. If you have had paydays on Mondays before then it will be released to your account the same day as that. |
