Question for Marine Recruiters..?

If I want Military Police in the marines how do I get job guarantee? Is there a certain score I need to have to be guaranteed the job I want? Can it be written in the contract somewhere that I WILL be guaranteed that job or will they just throw me where they need me? Can I take the ASVAB before singing the contract?

You already got your answer.The Marine Corps can only get you the field 58xx nothing more so you can end up as a MP or Corrections.You'll get your orders at the end of MCT which will state where you will go.
You take your ASVAB before you a sign a contract.58xx requires a 100 or so GT score I believe.Just read through your contract when you sign it.Everything will be there it's not very hard. |

The USMC CAN'T guarantee you a job only a FIELD such as 58xx which means you could end up as a MP or a Correctional Specialist (Prison guard kinda).It's 100 GT for MP.The chances of you ending up as a Correctional Specialist is very low about 2 out of 10 people get it or so.I suggest not enlisting into that field if you would find being a Correctional specialist boring. |
