ok im almost 17 and was wondering what is the requirements to be in Marine Reconi need all the information if possible...

Mayflower is wrong, any MOS can opt to take the indoc for recon, but if you're non infantry you have to go back to SOI to pick up the 0311 billet before going to BRC. If you are not in yet ask your recruiter about the UZ contract, and see if you are qualified.

It varies, but the basics are, you must be abel to run a high first class PFT, be able to obtain a security clearence. Once you complete infantry training you'll run an indoc. You have to wade water for 30 minutes, swim 50 meters underwater, hold a rifle over your head and stay afloat, swim a 1000 meters then run a first class pft. If you want to know what all that means, google it.

Join the Marine Corps
MOS either infantry or communication. Those are the only two MOS's that allow a Marine to try out for recon.
