I am in the same boat and to me it isn't because you have to prove with evidence that the military did something wrong or unjust. Basically you need to explain why the discharge is wrong and why you deserve another one. You can't just say "Oh, well this discharge looks bad, I'll send them an e-mail to change it" I got an RE-4 code and would love another chance to do things right but the Navy did not hand that out unfairly, so I'm just **** outta luck. |

You don't say which service you are asking about but anyway you need to apply through that services Board for Correction of Military Records and/or Discharge Review Board. |

Depends upon what the original discharge is. Check your VA. Yes it's always worth it if you want an honorable discharge. |
