can you get airborne, or other stuff like option 40 into a rotc contract; I want to go infantry and become a ranger. Also I am trying to become a officer.

Nope,
Officer do not get incentives in their contracts. They cannot even get an MOS in their contract.
1. You will have to be near the top of your ROTC class, to even have a chance of getting Infantry.
Infantry is the most sought after MOS for Officers.
2. While in ROTC, you may have a chance of going to jump school during the summer.
3. Basically all Combat Arms Officers go to Ranger School after their Basic Branch Course.
Of course that doesn't make you a Ranger.
4. You cannot apply to be a Ranger Officer until after you are a 1st Lt ( promotable ) and have command time at Platoon level in a regular unit first. |

You will have the opportunity to attend airborne school while in the rotc program. Option 40 is only for those who are entering as an enlisted so it's not available in the rotc program. However while in rotc try to complete airborne school between your sophmore and junior year and try out for SFAS in between your junior and senior year. Good luck. |

you can get it. but it is going to depend on what phase of ROTC your in right now. if you are a soph becoming a JR then definately get all that in there. if you get the ranger option then AIRBORNE is automatically there. but you wont attend ranger school til after you complete college. AIRBORNE can be done over the summer break.
now if your still in HS and looking at ROTC, i sure hope your not a SR, cause your abouit two months too late.
