The West may win by technology, but in all honestly, the East will win, particularly due to China's gargantuan populous.

And the Chinese are more patriotic (I would know) so the likelihood of their recruitments are high. They'll be like, "OMG, the Americans are n00bs...."

Israel would be out of the fight - and quick. Theyre in a very vulnerable position out there by themselves surrounded by enemies on all sides. I think politically the U.S. would be forced to send troops there - but strategically it would be a huge unnecessary burden and may cost the war.

Cuba would be a non factor.

North Korea China and Russia is a huge landmass - I can't imagine trying to take them on together. Germany almost did it in WWII, but I think it has become less possible than more.

I think in the end it would be a stalemate. I doubt countries would actually use nukes - and if they did - still a stalemate. No way could you take over that much land in one war.

China alone is enough match for the U.S., of course they have to actually land on U.S. soil to use their billion people.

Russia isn't a world player anymore. They won't be for awhile. Even if they were, they are European. The only reason they were a threat for awhile is because their communist leaders were trying to take over the world and were doing a very good job at it.

N. Korea scares me. Nobody really knows alot about them. They are very secretive. I'm sure the US Intel knows all about them and what they are capable of, but that's prob Top Secret and the General public doesn't know a whole lot. So, I can't tell you what they are capable of other than their troops are not ones to mess with.

Cuba's army will come to our side if we ever fought. Their population hates their government.

China's primary source of income is the US. They wouldn't fight a war with us and if they did their numbers are their downfall. It wouldn't be very hard to starve them and demoralize their troops. They are almost starving as it is without a war. A head on head battle with them would be stupid. The battle on the US side would be fought a different way. 100-1 isn't very good odds, unless those 100 are so broken and hungry they don't care. It would be primarily a psychological war where we would aim more bombs at supply lines than troops.

Israel has the most powerful ground force in the world. Almost the entire population of Israel is a combat veteran which has seen battle. The US would have a hard time beating them, if we could beat them at all.

Most countries in the Middle East can be taken out with simple Blitzkrieg tactics. In a real war, where we aren't worried about civilian casualties as much, then they wouldn't even stand a chance. Guerrilla tactics is what their good at, but unlike Vietnam they don't have thick jungle to hide in.

If it's a nuclear war with Russia on one side and the US on the other, the whole world would be annihilated: it's simple math with all the hundreds of missiles on each side ready to launch in a minute.

Korea, Cuba, all of the middle east (minus Israel) would definitely win the only struggle would be with the U.S. and some of the European countries and the far eastern countries but other countries would be an easy take,pulse certain countries would no involve in the war my guess is that only England,U.S.,Israel,germeny,and south Korea would be "the rest of the world".

U.S. and England gets attacked from the inside and outside since there are lots of people inside the U.S. and England that would love to see them crumble in its place,Israel would be destroyed in a snap it would be attacked all over inside outside up down sideways you name it,it's hated by all the countries that are around it,south Korea would be attacked by the Chines and North Koreans and maybe by Cuba.

Lets face it Russia, China, N. Korea, Cuba, all of the middle east (except Israel) have the upper hand.

P.S.If they would use nukes it would be the end of life on earth (except of roaches) there would be nuclear winters,radiation contamination,and of course wast lands and deadly heat from impacts of the weapons.

After initial gains into eastern europe by Russia and China, NATO threatens the eastern block of countries by pulling out the old cold war threat: Go past the Rhine, and tactical nukes will be deployed. Either they stop their advance, or they do not - if they do, it is considered a stalemate; if they do not, then the war goes nuclear, and we all lose, which would result in a stalemate.

- US vs China (my scenario): ICBM, without nuclear payload, equipped with HEAP warhead would be launched against the world's largest hydro-electric dam, thereby erasing 1/3 of China's population. China would have to retire from the war, except to fight defensively.
- EU vs CIS: A long an protracted war, with many casualties, and US in full combat support operations. Ultimately, suffering similarly as in the first two World Wars, Allied forces would win.
- Cuba and the Chavez Junta vs the US : LONG, protracted war, with many assassinations, and ultimately resulting in territorial gains being made by the US's Latino Allies. This would be very bloody and not at all civil or even a fair fight.
- Arab League vs Israel: a) Much like in previous wars, Israel would be the victor, and would fall back to allow the Arabs to have a sense of victory and rebound, thus wearing the Arabs down little by little. b) An erasure of the Israelis from the world map, with heavy Palestinian and Arab losses. I don't suspect the Israelis would pass quietly.
