SHOULD I BELIEVE THIS SOLDIER?

A US Soldier wants to go to my country to meet me after his deployment. He call me like everyday and I can say we have sensible conversation. He is 26, good looking and intelligent man and wants a to have a traditional family. With the Global Financial Crisis, isn't that people should be wise with their money? Should I believe that he's coming in my current location-Philippines after 5 months of online dating? And do you know any Military man who actually travel to other country to meet a girl?

He is Infantryman Private and deployed in Iraq now. I worry that maybe he talk to me just to fill his idle time. I appreciate the calls though...

You better do some serious research to whom he claims to be.
Make sure you if this person wants to come meet you that you don't meet him alone and that several people know where you are. |

Be very careful. Make sure he is who he says he is first and make sure you meet in a public place with friends before being alone with him. |

Depending on his pay grade will determine his financial ability to come see you due to the economic crises. However, I do know of several Soldiers who have went to other nations to meet a person and resulted in marriage. 5 months is not very long in terms of dating but if he's been willing to see you for that long then will probably come to see you. |

Many men do actually travel to meet women in other countries after exchanges of e-mail messages, but on-line dating is not the same as actual face to face dating, so don't get your hopes up that all will be as presented. |
