Should Al Zarqawi"s body be buried according to Muslim Law?

I'm with Tcat on this one. Maybe he shouldn't be given a burial in accordance with Muslim Law (Jordan won't even take his body), but he definitely shouldn't be desecrated. What kind of message does that send to Iraqis about their "liberators"?

Bin laden has no right to ask anything of us. That terrorist was born in Jordan. So its up the the Jordanian government if they want to grant a "choke" Muslim burial to a man who killed his fellow Jordanians. My thoughts are that allowing him a Muslim burial is a slap in the face to all peace touting Muslims.

since the muslims have no respect for our dead, why would they expect us to have respect for theirs? Of course the liberals are already here saying don't disrespect that murderer's body, but I have seen the muslims drag a stripped body of an infidel around the streets and the people spitting and throwing rocks at it.

Come on people, His body should be cremated. The way we do to people that have no one to claim them. The man is dead. On the other hand, allowing him a Muslim burial will also show the world that we are not there to eliminate their religion, and that we will honor their religion no matter who they are. Might help win some hearts and minds. Remember everyone is looking to find new ways to insight more insurgency. I think we should fly in the pope and make sure he is sent to Hell first, then give him back. With an IED planted in him so we can bomb the funeral.

I think his body should be placed in a building and that building should be blown up, and reduced to ash and rubble. His comrades could then pick through the rubble for 3 years looking for teeth and bone fragments to see if they can identify them. The remains could sit in a generic metal container indefinitely until they are no longer considered evidence of his death. Hey, if bin Laden considered this good enough for 9/11, it should be more than fair for his buddy.

Bury him according to his religous custom.

But do it on US soil (or Western European).

That would be in staying with our ideals, and it would not give the enemy more propaganda ammunition, but it would also not have made him at all happy to be buried and rest forever on land of the "infidels".
