And to the person above... The WMD's were not 'non-existant'. We know he had them, because many of them we sold to him when he as fighting Iran. Yes, it looks as if he really did destroy them all before the invasion, but remember, even Bill Clinton didn't believe he had done so when Slick was president.

For what war crimes exactly? There has to be a specific war crime and the International Criminal Court has not filed a single indictment of President Bush.

BTW. Timothy C.- Saddam Hussein was tried, convicted, and executed by an Iraqi court, not an American one.

Most of the Iraqis I know would thank him and hug him. He has not, to my knowledge, committed any "war crimes." Just because he is the president during a time of war does not mean he is a criminal.

Milosevic and Hitler were war criminals. Although he may be a millionaire from Texas, George W. Bush cannot truthfully be compared with these men. Yes, there have been some mistakes made in the management of the war, but the commander in chief cannot be held responsible for every action of every member of the military. If this were the case then every world leader would have to be executed.

If he were guilty of war crimes he would be charged and sentenced. He isn't guilty of those things and that is why no charges have been brought against him, regardless of how much you might wish otherwise. People who make this claim are idiots who's view of reality is very warped.

well first of all there would have to be able to be credible evidence of war crimes which we all know, although some won't admit it there are none. so based on the real world there is no war crime to charge him with. so how you going to execute him? that would be murder. there is no way he would be handed over to a foreign nation if he was charged with war crimes he would be tried her where he could get a fair trial. Again since there are no war crimes to try him for it will NEVER happen so quit living in your fantasy life.

On what grounds? Exactly what are you going to charge him with? You can't throw around generic terms like "war crimes." You have to have specific allegations. Cite the exact charge you're bringing against him.

Funny, the United States spends billions of dollars investing in technology to limit civilian deaths and more precisely target specific and known threats, and you want to go charging the President with war crimes.

Why? You'd compare US operations in Iraq with indiscriminant butchering seen in the Congo, Ruwanda, and the like? You'd have to be seriously deluded to come to that conclusion.

And why are you charging George Bush with these said war crimes and not the Islamist militants who are indiscrimantly killing Iraquis, not wearing uniforms, not abiding by the Geneva Conventions, and who are specifically targeting mosques and other public facilities? THOSE ARE WAR CRIMES. And where's the indignation, dare I ask?

It seems to me your priorities are a bit warped.

All these people claiming President Bush made this stuff up bother me. Regime change and the belief Saddam Hussein was acquiring illegal arms has been a belief and policy of the US intelligence agencies since the Clinton years. The difference is that Bush actually acted (on bad intelligence) when Clinton didn't.

I further ask why you don't target Bill Clinton for war crimes if you're so hung up on Bush. He proceed to bomb the Serbians on false charges. We heard reports from the press that a massacre of thousands was occuring, which turned out to be absolutely false. In the end, it would appear we bombed the wrong side, as well. Seems eerily similar to what happend in Iraq, though on a smaller scale.

What did he do to cause a war crimes. Sure is caused a war that killed thousands of our troops, but if u look george bushs dad also started a war too so it runs in the family.

Yes he should be convicted of war crimes. He knowingly invaded a country on false pretenses. The action resulted n over 100,000 civilian casualties in Iraq. Executed? No. Convicted and sentenced to life n an Iraqi jail? Yes.

For those who stick up for him perhaps you dont know the war is illegal. The Geneva Convention and United Nations General Assembly have both been slapped in the face over this "one mans" army.

Actually i say tell him to show the proof of the reasons we went to war with Iraq and if he can't show then war crimes but not execution because two wrongs don't make a right
