I have accepted my appointment and I have an interview for a scholarship at my school but recently my guidance counselors have been asking if I need scholarship money since the naval academy is paid for.. In your response can you please add what I might need the scholarship money for so that I can use it in tomorrow's interview. :-)

You don't need a scholarship at a service academy. Your room, board, tuition and books are paid, plus you get a small stipend while you're there. And the education you receive is probably as good or better than you can get in any other institution in the US. And, when you get out, you have a guaranteed job. What more do you want? |

Your education at USNA will be totally free, plus, you'll be paid a stipend for incidental expenses.
You do not need the money. Leave it for someone who does. |

No, that would be fraud.
Other kids need the scholarship money -- not you!
You will get paid while in the Naval Academy and, in my eyes, you are paid too much for getting a full ride!
