after the cease fire was declared in Korea, 5 Captured US airmen were released who signed confessions to acts that they never committed because they were tortured. This was the foundation for the military's position that torture does not yield reliable results. Furthermore, one of the documents used as evidence was a Korean diagram illustrating the method known as waterboarding. The same diagram was later used by the Bush administration in a field manual to demonstrate it's proper use for our people. To use evidence as reliable that was obtained via a method we denounce as unreliable is the apex of arrogance. |

No. Confessions and/or "evidence" obtained through torture should not be used since past evidence obtained through torture is approx. 95% wrong. |
