Yes, they should! And they should get full pension rights and benefits. They put their lives on the line for this country, and they should be thanked for it, not treated like dirt. It makes me ashamed the way the British Government treats them |
|

 |
of course they should. this is so typical of the labour party to humiliate and embarrass Britain. they let in criminals terrorists paedophiles rapists drug dealers and whole criminal gangs!! but refuse a people that have been loyal and true, fighting for this country for generations. my hatred and contempt for the labour party seems to grow on a daily basis. they have to be the most disgusting bunch of parasites this country have ever had in power. |

Yes, yes and yes. What the hell is the problem with all of this crap? The Royal Gurkha Rifles is a regiment within the British Army and in my book that means every man-jack of them is British and they can stay here after serving their time with the regiment if they wish. Why the hell not? What have the UK.gov got against these guys? |

Of course they should!!they have fought some of the toughest battles in Afghanistan with the paras and 16 air assault brigade!besides most of the officers are british so its kinda hard to organise training or operations when the soldiers and officers are in two different countries, isnt it??id prefer to have them than some people whose sole intention is to go and kill our soldiers on foreign battlefields! |
|

Shunter

Too bloody right they should. As an ex-Para, you will NEVER find more loyal soldiers than Gurkhas. Unfortunately, Governments will looks at these people and think, "Thick, uneducated, illiterate people. Use them! Abuse them! Dump them!!". THIS GOVERNMENT NEEDS A TO WAKE UP.
If I had my time again, knowning what I know now, I would have left this country years ago. this Governemt have totally fu*ked this (ONCE PROUD) country. It;s now full of east european rubbish. Will they join our Armed Forces?? i;ll die laughing b4 they do.
I'd sooner be backed up by 1 Gurkha, than 20 East Europeans |

absolutely. The Munal Tandoori at the end of my road is run by Gurkas and it serves the best food I've ever eaten. |

Too right. I've had the pleasure of working with the Gurkhas in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are one of the best regiments in the world. They are really well commited to this country. Why should lazy arsed people from other countries be allowed to come here for free and sponge off of the government when the Gurkhas pay their taxes and are prepared to die for our country? |

Of course they should!
They have proved their loyalty by figthing for our Country. They are true British Citizens in my eyes. I would welcome them into my home with open arms. If there's not enough room, throw out the immigrants who are tax sponges, not contributing anything to our Nation.
In my opinion, immigrants should be made to serve in the military for a few years to earn their citizenship. If they turn down or do not complete their service, they don't get to live here.
I honestly feel ashamed to be British when this sort of thing happens. Our government should be fired if they stop Gurkhas living here. |

I know it wouldn't make much difference but every little helps, so one of u political creatures should start a petition on this subject.
I've met some Gurkha's and they are the most nicest, friendliness and polite people I've ever come across(just don't cross them..)
You gotta let the Gurkha's in and let them deal with the little shits who think that carrying a lock knife will make them hard.
one look at a Gurkha with his knife and they''ll run screaming to mummy for a new pair of pants.
Do they still wear those green blazers that make them look like privately educated schoolboys?? |

Yes, The Queen should make a ruling! |

 |
Yes. They should be allowed to settle anywhere which is under British jurisdiction with the same pension rights as any other British military member and the right to full nationality after four years service if they desire it.
These men are one of the best units in the UK military. They spend years serving a country which is not the one of their birth, and that should allow them to have the same rights as anyone born and raised here.
The government decision to allow a full military pension only to those Gurkha soldiers who retired post 1998 is shameful. This should be extended to ALL ex members of the Royal Gurkha Rifles who are still alive utterly irrespective of when they retired. |

Yes
It is a disgrace that we allow preachers of hate and fake asylum seekers to stay here but deny these brave and loyal soldiers. |

I totally agree with Lakey700 and let's not forget their contribution in the Falklands war where they fought along side our Para's.
In addition my fiancee worked with 4th Gurkha transport regiment in Kuwait and have definitely earnt the right to be here. He also says they make a great goat curry!! |
