Yes they are the same as any straight guy...as long as they meet the requirements. Why shouldn't they be allowed?? I can't think of one reason. Who cares if someone is gay, if you don't like don't pay attention. It's not your life so what does it matter.....they are as capable as any other guy!! The question you should be asking should non citizens be able to fight and i dont think they should!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

omg, i don't understand how closed minded people are about this issue. if a gay man is openly gay in the armed forces, people just assume that he will screw everything on 3 legs and neglect to fulfil his duties as a soldier.
what a person does behind closed doors should have nothing to do with whether or not they should be allowed to serve thier country. |

sure. They do right now, but I think the dont ask, dont tell policy is still in place though.

i believe that everyone has the right to fight in what they believe in, no matter who they are and what they believe in. but i do see how it might be strange for the people stay in the same barek as them. but i fully support gays in the military for they have just as much right as anyone else. |
