The DIs have more important things to do like reducing your friend to bare bones and rebuild him into a Marine.
However, I suggest that you encourage him to leave the "Get out of Iraq" t-shirt at home... - that could get him hurt. Maybe you can use it for its rightful purpose -- car cleaning rag.
You may not have figured this out but there have been other Liberal Marines with STELLAR careers...like John Glenn.
