Should the English start forming non-governmental protection forces to preserve ourselves?

Finally voice of reason has come up with a wonderful idea "The Blackshirts", only black might be a bit hot in the summer... but we could wear shorts, and a pointed double edged dagger might be handy for cutting string... or something.

Perhaps... some sort of national self defense plan..? Or what was it... I heard it in a song once... The soldiers of the Old Home Guard?

You'd have to work it out with your Police/Military/whomever... since you can't keep guns... how/when you would train... if needed how would the members get the guns....

Or... am I taking seriously a non-serious question... I just think that the citizens have a right to defend themselves..

No, do you have a nice, rusty sword? I believe you already gave up your fire arm's. What do you mean, son? I believe your Queen has a fairly effective defense, with her grandson's in it. And at least one champing at the bit to go to Iraq. Blushing and mad he can't. Nice kid. Stupid like most kid's. No, you don't need protection force's. I mean who has threatened to take the UK lately? Or even #10 Downing Street? Even the IRA has not gone that far. I mean what do you have to fight with except your fist's by and large? I saw couple of drunks here in Fort Worth today trying to have a fight.By the side of the road, coming home from class. One was a super kicker, trying to kick the others head off like a football. Missing repeatedly. The other was bouncing up and down and waving his hand's. You have a good benevolent ruling system and an efficient armed force's to defend you. So why do you want a self defense force? Most of you have not shot any kind of firearm!
