This would be a truly grave decision for everyone involved. |

I think any issue should try to be resolved diplomatically without force but if it is truly necessary then I am in agreement to the use of force. right now though we are tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan so our options are limited. |

No. The US shouldn't react on their own when it comes to North Korea. It's an issue that should be resolved by international cooperation, via diplomacy. |

The United states should not, no. We should support sanctions but not send millions of troops. We would however be involved since we have lots and lots of troops stationed in south korea. China however is an ally of N. Korea but they do NOT support them having nukes and were very disapointed that they tested without 6 party talks. I think the world should get involved. Nukes in the hands of jong is a bad idea. |

No, did you watch that video that talked about what a war with North Korea would be like? They would swarm the south and destroy all positions. The last time it was a stale mate but
according to generals of the U.S they are capable of pushing the U.S out even if all the patiots say "LETS JUST NUKE EM" because thats exactly what they were expecting the last time.
And I don't think China would be too happy either. |

No way.... what good it'll bring? Tension in the world is already high.... also, I do not think it will make US a safer place to live. |

4 things to consider before a country is invaded. #1. a country should always be invaded with the consensus & participation of at least 4 leading world powers unless the aforementioned country attacks first. #2. a leader must be chosen to replace the one to be dethrowoned prior to invasion. #3. a plan A & B must be in place prior to invasion (e.g. exit stragedy). #4. alternative measures should be first applied (economic sanctions) for obvious military reasons. |

No.. N Korea has not attacked, yet. When they do attack, then hit them back. |

No, this is a world problem let the UN respond |

with what troops ? |

No.
A force response would be the dumbest thing to do as it would only prove North Korea's point. US already got involved in Korean business when South seceded from the North and then threatened the North with nukes.
The North's argument for building a nuke is just that: responding to the US threat. If that threat materializes, then many more countries would begin to actively seek nukes and fast. |

deja vu, haven't we done that before, yeah, geez that went well! |

We are quite able to respond, I'm sure, but I think we need to 1. Make sure it was a nuclear bomb. I refuse to take Kim Jong Il's word for it. 2. Let China handle it, if they will. |

I don't think the US can show that by responding with force it accomplished anything... |

The U.S. got its hands tied up with Iraq. It'll be hard. But we could blow a bomb there and warn Kim Jong Il. |

No. Not yet. But, if they start selling the nuke stuff, all heck is going to break loose! |

The poor Korean bast@d tried to talk with W for years. Diplomacy isn't something the US does anymore. What's happened to us? We make threats and reject diplomacy then when we're confronted with an escalation, we're screwed. If we had better foriegn policy we wouldn't have to be so worried about terrorism and other countries feeling like they need to arm themselves to balance out the threat the US makes. |

With what force? The USA's hands are tied in Iraq. |
|

?

Yes! Then China will respond with full force!I Iran, will respond with full force. and that's the end of the long trail!! |

The US should keep its fingers out of other people's pies! If it didn't keep going in and poking its fingers where they are not wanted, we'd all be a lot happier, and maybe other nations would stop trying to blow it up..... only an idea! |
