This release from the DHS is an absolute travesty. I am deeply offended and ashamed. Offended at calling me, someone who has spent much of their adult life fighting terrorism a potential terrorist, and ashamed that the government I did it for has the audacity to say something so disgusting. Like any group there are going to be some problems, but they are few and far between. I ask you to respect us, you don't have to thank me or say anything to me in the airport, just stay out of my way, and don't call me what I despise most and spent so much time combating. I will tell you, the only people that have to be scared of me is, those who hate America and Janet Napalitano. If I see that *****, she won't like what happens.

There are crazy people everywhere in life, the Military is no exception, sure some people should be looked out for. Just like some of us (civilians) should be looked out for.

This is called- Dis-information. They want you to keep your eye on this so that you will not see what the 'other hand' is doing. Smoke and Mirrors. The current administration in starting a big "power play".
Some call it a "hidden agenda". One would be better off to look at what the current administration is trying to do. Example; Giving illegal aliens a free pass into this county (letting them break the law & get away with it), trying to "take" our 2nd admendment out, etc. etc..
The Department of Homeland Security should be changed to Department of Homeland Stupidity. Veterans for the most part are very patrotic people who love this country. They also know that this country has a government that changes hands alot. I love this country, but don't trust the people who are politicians farther then I can spit. Don't think they want total power? Think agian, look at history. Absolute power corrupts ablsolutly.

Per capita there many more nut jobs and crazies in the civilian ranks. With each military person that returns, the nation gets a little bit better.

Well, this is one soldier you won't have to worry about. After I retire next year, I will be moving to Switzerland with my wife. Auf wiedersehen, ciao or allez ciao. I love this country, and loved serving in the military, but it is time for me to go.

That's weird ,I don't remember seeing as where Mohammad, McVey. and Oswald had gone to Irag and or Afghanistan, but maybe I missed that.
