I'm afraid if they do, their won't be much left of Iran when it's over. USA can't afford to get into a extensive land offensive, we would rely on air support as always and if you think Shock and Awe was anything, I'd hate to be Iranian. Iranians need to get a grip on their maniacal leaders.
As far as would the dare, a rational leadership would no better, but a crazed lunatic, who thinks he speaks for all Muslims, may just pull the trigger to unite the arabs and the muslims against the West - to their ultimate detriment. |

of course they would. did Iraq hesitate? even though Iraq and Iran hate each other... they both are founded among the same principles of religion.... hate the west. now even though the unit i was with in the Army is over in Iraq, and has lost some members.... i have to say i respect what many muslims over there are trying to do. they dont want western influence in their homes, life, country... most of them are peaceful, but some go to far. and i think that Iran's current govt would go WAAAY!!!! to far... |

I think it would. The real question is would the US dare to fight Iran ? NO . If it knew it could fight it, it would've done it decades ago. That's because America uses force with weak countries(Iraq for instance and Afghanistan) and offers democratic options to countries like Iran. |

If they do...they would lose quickly....how many troops do we have right next door??? The sky would be ours in a matter of hours. Then we cut off their gas supply seeing how they import most of their refined gasoline. Then obliterate their nuclear sites and gov't buildings. Then we are done. |

No, not now at least. They know they would be defeated in a traditional war. Islam does not confront directly. They will continue to use terrorism to get their goals met. Iran wants to control the entire region and oil in the middle east. This of course will not be allowed to happen, but its ruler is nuts so who knows. |
