Of course, "LT" and "Second Louey" for 2LT as well
Railroad tracks for CPT
Oak leaf clusters for MAJ & LTC (usually with the color, gold or silver)
Light colonel for LTC
Full bird for COL
"Won't's" and "Can't's" for WO1 and Chief Warrant Officers (who in turn call commissioned officers RLOs (Real, live officers)
Buck sergeant for SGT
While many of us call warrant officers "chief", I hear aviation WO/CWO's don't like it because that is the title of their crew chief
And it's not common bu I've heard 1LT's called , "Lieutenant Second Try"
Finally, and it's real old, but Smadge (phonetically) for CSM (old style abbreviations was SMAJ) |

Another: A navy Lieutenant Commander is often called by his acronym LDCR (pronounced ELL-CEDAR)... though if you LIKE an LCDR, you will often refer to them as Commander.
Any Navy Commanding Officer is called Captain or Skipper.
Chief Petty Officers are usually called Chief
Senior Chief PO's are called Senior
Master Chief Petty Officers are call MASTER CHIEF !! |

In the Navy, on a ship, the junior Ensign (O-1) is "George." The senior Ensign is the Bull Ensign. "George" and "Bull" are engraved right on their bars.
Bull and George have specific tasks assigned to them that are related to the Officers' Mess (Ward Room). |
