Im deployed, just wondering if theirs a catch to using skype. it says free skype to skype, does that really apply if im calling from afghan to us? Also if i pay as i go or monthly to call mobile numbers would that mean the person i call would get a huge long distance bill?

Skype to Skype anywhere in the world free and no catch, you can even use the auto top up So you never run out of credit (if you call land line and mobile you’ll need credit) .....the calling cost Skype to mobile and to land lines is in general a lot cheaper then mobile to mobile....the local Rochan or AWCC networks from Afghanistan back home is not too bad priced....but depending on where you’re based the network Signal from local providers is cr*p.......
Personally i stick with Skype to call home........ |

skype to skype is just the same as using msn.
You can also subscribe to call landlines for a small fee. I'm in chile and pay ÂŁ3.40 per month to call UK landlines |
