Hi has anyone got a link for the starship troopers dropship
When i say dropship i mean the one used in the klendathu drop and the one the mobile infantry use to ride into glorious battle

Depends.
If you mean the book, they used individual pods and not a ship. It just looked like a pill and was shot from something on the ship that looked like a machine gun, disolved in the atmosphere and then used rockets and chutes to slow the trooper down for landing. They did have ships that picked them back up though. If you look at the board game cover box or old copies of the novel, it looked like a big ball with landers.
If you mean the movie, then no I cant help you there. You really should read the book if you haven't, its 100 times better then the movie, if for no other reason then power armor. They were called mobile infantry because of the power suits that were left out of the movie. |
