Swcc? please answer!?

i have been looking at the navy swcc and was wondering if you go straight there from boot camp or do you apply after you have a normal navy job, also if you do go straight in and you fail out could you still go into the security unit of the navy?

The Naval SWCC (Special Warfare Candidate-Craft Crewmember) program is specifically designed for recruits who have never served in the military before. You leave for the SWCC Challenge school directly from boot camp and stay there for 22 weeks.

The requirements can be found in the link below, but know that entrance applicants are subject to a thorough background check and a very rigorous physical fitness regimen.

Should you fail out, you'd have the chance to choose a different career path in the Navy or be given the option to seperate(leave the military)
