Tell me about national guard?

How is boot camp? How long is boot camp? How hard is it? Etc.

Tell me all about your expieriences in the National Guard. I mean the part-time job where you can go to college and stuff.

Also, I am 17 years old, getting my GED soon. I know I need that. Thats all I know about it though....

First off you wont get into the national guard with a GED anymore they recently changed the standards. BUT to answer the other questions, you go to regular Army BCT. And you go to regular Army AIT. There is no difference in the training you get in the national guard and the regular active army. After you return home, you will go to monthly drills with your unit, and deploy with your unit if they do. You can go to college, because you are only doing your drills on weekends and one weekend a month, so all 28 days of the month that you arent at drill youre a civilian and you can use your college benefits during that time

Boot camp is for Marines, but Basic Training is hard but fun at the same time. It will challenge you and reward you at the same time. The National Guard will pay for college tuition while you go to school. When you go to drills they are usually 2 days, and you get paid for 4 so it is a good deal. Go for it.
