First, THEY didn't make people hate you; you were able to do that all by yourself. Second, I wish they were capable of not protecting you. I'd love to see them just let you get caught up in something. I'd love to see you be taken away or tortured by some terrorist and have you yell to them to save you and have the military just wave as the terrorist takes you away. I know you will never wake up and see the danger out there. You're one of those libs who think the world has loved us until OUR President was elected. Nobody is Protecting you!!! they are protecting the American way, our homes our families our jobs our freedoms ( even our freedoms to post stupid s hit on YA) they are Protecting America the country, not a single one of those soldiers, sailors, marines, airman, or civilians working for them have had a gun put to there heads to make them go over there!! your gas is at $ 4.00 a gallon not because of Iraq but because of greedy oil companies!!! if you don't like the way things are going stand up and say so!! go out and vote make your voice heard. I am sure you have heard this time and time again but I will tell you one more time "If you don't like it you can move out!!"

Jody those kinds of people have hated us for years because of who we are and the freedom we enjoy ... the freedom you enjoy..as others have said you could move to another country and might be arrested for what you just said. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else but here in the u.s.a ... sure it's not perfect but it's the best! I'm sure there are a lot of the soldiers .. if they read this would be more than happy to oblige you .. if they could. but like it or not they do their job without question .. I for one am glad they do what they do .. I'm proud of them for the job they do and the risk they take each and everyday for us!

Beyond what you've said in your statement its a wonder I even read it at all because of the name you have chosen for your ID! I have served in the active Army for four years and two combat tours in Iraq. I choose to serve my country because it needed good people to carry its responsibility of protecting our way of life! Its all the people who don't understand us and become our "Jody" when we are taking care of all that no one else wishes to do, that makes me dis-hearted and sad that my own American Brothers can't appreciate what others do for them!

I understand your frustration, but please don't aim it at the soldiers. They are frustrated too..and are only following some very (in my opinion) mis-guided orders. They are not as free as we are to express thier concerns, while they are in uniform. You need to chat with the commander-in-chief. Hang in there.
