I think this story is developing into an Anti British anti USA argument which is of no benefit to either of our countries.

Their are times when the press should learn to keep their mouths shut. Not only have tjhey placed a Prince of the realm in additional danger by making him a prime target they have aalso added to the danger of everyone with him.
So forget your anti Royal anti USs and anti Brit and take note that men's lives have been put in extra danger because some idiot wanted a headline

Practically everyone here in the states knows what our media is like... I recall them standing on a beach waiting for one of our SEAL Teams to come in. Lights blaring, cameras waving... you should have seen the look on the CO's face when they beached. If he could have killed them, I think he would have. They jeopardized the whole mission by being there but they didn't care... as long as they had news to report.

FYI... the story of Harry's whereabouts was first made public by Australia and Germany... so don't blame us for everything!

P.S. The US Govt. didn't put out the story, the Media did. Anything for a story!
So technically we didn't reneg on anything. Besides, from what I hear the source came from over there. Maybe MI6 should do some snooping.

It must be a horrifying concept that our citizens are allowed to engage in free speech.

Besides, the Drudge report is not part of the major media outlets in America so, if CNN promises something you can't expect some guy named Drudge to keep that promise just because CNN offered to.

I've never heard of the Drudge report before, but why is the stupid media blowing his cover now, why not just paint a big target on his head? This is one story they shouldn't have covered until he was safely home again. It not only endangers him but the men who are serving with him as the enemy considers him a high value target.

They've reneged on the Geneva Convention, the UN Declaration on Human Rights and their own constitution. Blabbing about Harry is the least of their crimes.

Since the Drudge report is authored by an individual, claiming that the 'American media' as a whole lacks a sense of moral decency isn't very appropriate, since no other media outlet has printed a word of the same.

Looks like someone owes the Yanks an apology - they didn't break the story at all.

I don't believe Drudge has EVER agreed to be silent on anything! How can you say that the Americans have reneged on anything? We as a whole have not agreed to silence. Our media is independent and not controlled by the Government so they are free, key word FREE, to do as they like.

#2. I don't get why everyone hates Drudge so much...it's not like HE writes these stories....he simply posts LINKS to where the story was written.

What the hell is this "Drudge report" and who the heck listens/sees this thing anyway?? lemme tell you, people in afghanistan get very very little news from anywhere else.

Secondly in order to really compromise your beloved prince's position they would have to have disclosed their exact location, battalion etc..plus once in the field they dont stay in one area for long, maybe a week, 2 at the very most. Plus I find it really really hard to believe he is in actual combat, they put people like that very far in the rear, they rarely if ever see any action.
