Theres a movement now to ban all adult mags on military bases--do you agree or disagree? Is this another?

attempt to legislate morality?

when I was in the AF, the guys (and gals) all read Playboy and Penthouse, etc-----whats the big deal?

First I want to say that I don't agree with it, but at the same time the issue is that it is not just single guys on these bases there are spouses and children too. I know on our base the mags are not put up they are on the shelf with all the mags and books. There have been a lot of complaints from parents because their kids are seeing these mags. Another problem is that where we are stationed there was a few cases where some of the single guys had the mags and was doing their thing in the middle of the store. The cases like that are what started this in motion.

Hey! if it was fine for WWII, Korea and Vietnam and at every base, why in the hell would they change it now.

I think the Pentagon Generals have all gone soft in the head. Many of them spend too much time behind a desk and not enough in the field. Perhaps this explains why things are not going so well in Iraq and Afghanistan.

There were many officers who were "wounded" and not from the enemy in Vietnam, it was a way to "wake them up" to the stupid leadership skill they had.

I emphasize with the current military personnel, it seems the Military has forgotten their history lessons.

It's not a ban to forbid it on military bases. Just a ban to sell them in the PX/BX, etc........
Yes, it's stupid to try to ban the sale of them.
