I plan on going into the military as a doctor and am currently in a collegiate high school at a college that has a ROTC. If I go into a ROTC would this hinder getting the military to pay for medical school or would this help?

I don't know what the Army guy is smoking but if you can get into medical school...the Army/Navy/Air Force will send you.
1. If you get into USUHS (best bet), you go to school as a 2nd Lt, you get full pay/benefits, etc.
2. If you get into a medical school, then the military pays tuition, you get a stipend.
Talk to the Unit Admissions Officer ASAP. |

Yes it will defiantly help you and i think theres a way you can go threw rotc and come out and officer for the military. research that one tho good luck |

it can help and also not help. after you get into ROTC at your college, and you have your major, you apply for like a delay in your active duty deployment and apply for med school. Based upon your grades and achievement you can get accepted. |

ROTC would pay for college BUT they may not let you finish medical school right away, they could make you go into the Army first.
I know they will pay for medical school but It may not be part of ROTC.
